About Us
Recognizing a need for a service-focused benefits enrollment team, former educator and coach Mike Steele founded Steele Benefit Services in 2000. The company has expanded rapidly and now serves more than 40,000 employees in the midwestern United States.
We help our clients attract and retain valuable employees through high quality voluntary benefit programs, professional benefit enrollment, and year-around customer service. Our products help policyholders during the most difficult times of their lives including periods of serious illness, disability, and the loss of loved ones.
Supporting the community is important to us, and we support several youth-focused charities, including sports organizations and scholarship funds. In 2011, the Indianapolis Education Association recognized Mike Steele with their prestigious Human Rights Award.
